Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. Card and tap-to-pay are widely accepted; cash-only is more common at small family-run counters.

Sterling Heights is in Michigan, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Sterling Heights follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I've been to this restaurant plenty of times when I am on this side of town. I drive from Lansing so usually when I want myself some good Thai food I would stop by here at Hug Baan Thai. It's also funny because all the time I do come here for either lunch or dinner me and the wife always get the same seat πŸ˜†. It's been months since I came back here and I would say it doesn't taste the same to us anymore. Not sure if they have different cooks now or what but flavor changed. Raw beef Larb (beef Tartar) doesn't taste like how it used to, this is just straight up blend. The Chicken Pad Thai was ok. The Tom Yum Soups was ok more on the sweeter side, could of made it a little more sour then sweet. Our grandson had a good lunch though with the eggroll and chicken Satay. Thai Tea was good. Thai Tea Lemonade was something new that I thought giving it a try. Thats is not my cup of Tea. That after taste was not good. You can taste a hint of the Thai Tea sweetness and then the bitterness hit.

Highly recommended from many different outlets so we give this a try. Once you walk in, the restaurant has a strong Thai-inspired atmosphere. Generous portion of food and very deep flavor from all the dishes. If you have low tolerance on spicy food, even the mild option was quite hot, just fyi. Only complaint is the Singapore noodles, it turned out to be a big clump of noodles on a plate. Probably going to skip the stir fried noodles next time.

Overall wonderful place to eat more traditional style Thai food. The service was excellent and they were very friendly trying to accommodate all our dietary restrictions. Food was delicious enjoy very flavorful. After long time was able to taste traditional Thai food better than Lot of other Thai places.

First time here! Staff was very friendly & attentive. Clean & relaxing environment. Loved their holiday themed decor inside! We Ordered the spring rolls, crab rangoon, & pad thai. It was my bfs first time having Thai food ever, but he loved the crispy chicken he got on his. I’m a seasoned Thai food lover and everything was great! My only note is I wish the crab rangoon had more crab in it. I’ll definitely come here again to try more menu items!
